Aim / purpose of the solution, who it is good for

Today, enterprises and their operations are increasingly dependent on ICT and its services.
As the importance of internal IT grows, the requirements for its management also grow. Therefore, specialized procedural frameworks have been created to simplify the task of managing IT and to render it comprehensible. Thus the successful application of a procedural framework can be characterized by the described processes, the process management methodology, and by the standards for IT operation.

Features, characteristics, and funcionality of the solution

Thanks to knowledge of procedural frameworks such as ITIL, COBIT, and TOGAF in the case of enterprise architecture management, as well as experience in applying them, it is possible to mediate all the advantages resulting from their implementation. The complete implementation process in the enterprise begins with an analysis; an optimal solution is designed based on the results of the analysis, and this is partially or wholly implemented. Subsequently, its functioning over time is secured. In the case of partial implementations, a help desk/service desk can be designed and implemented, along with administration of the IS as well as the elaboration of methodical documents, standards, implementation plans, etc.

Process Management employing proven frameworks will get the company ICT under control. A successful implementation leads to positive effects not only on the IT processes but also on a number of other operational processes that use the IT services. There are many indications that signal the necessity to set up process management. These are most frequently insufficient operational capacity, the danger of losing control over operation management, or the fact that it is not possible to identify and assess risks. Process Management also helps define actions to eliminate or mitigate the risks; it can measure quality, service availability, the need to implement changes, and to increase or rearrange capacities.
